Older people will smile at this place. It's a typical roadside motel that you used to see all over the U.S. back in the 50s and 60s. You pull up and park in front of your room. This place doesn't look like it's changed much in the past 40 or 50 years, but it was quiet, we got a great night's sleep, and then we were on our way.

The shower was kind of weird: you never knew whether you'd get cold or hot or nothing.

This is a roadside motel in the middle of a small South central Utah town, and it reflects that. The owners were a blast to talk to, and very accommodating. The room I was in hadn't seen updates since maybe the 70s, but it was well kept, clean, and comfortable. Repairs over the years certainly ring of DIY, but again, this is a roadside motel, not a high class downtown hotel. The reception area as others have mentioned does smell of old cigarette smoke, but my room didn't at all. The outside deck was great, and live music was playing when I arrived.

Very basic, the doors doesn't closing property. They provided $25 heater which took few hours to heat the room. You need to run the faucets for few minutes to get hot water. People around we're smoking pot, was really scared staying here with family. The blankets had holes from people smoking int he room. Trust me, I won't stay nor recommend anyone staying here ever.

The free wifi is very sporadic: don't count on it.

We expected exactly what we got with the room. The room is very old and out dated, but what do you expect? This is Hanksville, not Hollywood. The one thing that made this an absolute fantastic stay was the female that answered the phone when we called to book a room. We would be arriving very late and she made us feel very welcome by letting us know what to we would be in, leaving the door unlocked and turning the light on for us. This made a late night check in very easy and really earned this 5 star rating.

Decent little hotel with lots of character and nice rooms. The owners (I assume) are always very nice. I wish the cost were a little less (~$100) considering the fact that wifi has never worked properly and some repair issues ... but it's one of only two hotels in the area and supply and demand, right? I'll stay here again for sure. Nice steakhouse across the street.

The bed was very comfortable.

"Breakfast" here consists of a cup of coffee and a donut in the tiny motel lobby.

It's like everything else in Utah: overpriced for tourists, but it's not a bad option if you just want someplace to sleep.
