Hollow Mountain has missed the boat. This used to be a must stop on the way down to Lake Powell. There has been no improvements to the place in years and no hot food to draw you in. The quaintness has lost its charm a little and the place is a little run down. I wish there was a good reason to skip Stan's and eat here.

We lost our dog near Hanksville. We told the workers there and they were so concerned (even though people lose their dogs out there all of the time) they went the extra mile to post a sign there. The people who found our dog had remembered the sign at the gas station. We are so grateful for hollow mountain for going the extra mile to help us find our dog!
